  • ➤ Idaho Foodbank will distribute free food boxes (with fresh produce, frozen meats, dairy, and dry goods) at the Latah County Fairgrounds in Moscow on Monday, Dec. 22 starting at 10:00 a.m., and volunteers will continue until the last box is handed out.  Pullman Radio

ENVIRONMENT NEWS

  • ➤ Fish and Game relocated four moose — a cow, a bull and two calves — from the University of Idaho arboretum to a safer habitat on Dec. 18 after growing safety concerns arose from their campus habituation.  Big Country News

  • ➤ Due to Wednesday’s wind storm and forecast cold temperatures, Pullman is offering cold relief at Neill Public Library and the Pullman Recreation Center during regular hours — with the Pullman Police Department lobby available when both are closed.  Pullman Radio
