  • Cougs First launched its inaugural networking event today in Pullman+ local professionals gathered to connect and share ideas. Organizers said the event will offer sessions aimed at sparking future collaborations.  KXLY

EDUCATION NEWS

  • Washington State University is asking the regents to approve a maximum 3.3% tuition increase for the 2026-2027 school year — this change would add nearly $400 to in-state undergraduate tuition, pending a regents meeting next week in Seattle. The move follows several years of near-maximum hikes and comes as WSU already has the highest annual tuition and fees in the state.  Pullman Radio

ENVIRONMENT NEWS

  • Pullman's annual leaf collection program starts November 10 and runs through November 26 with Pioneer Hill scheduled for November 10, 12, and 13; Military Hill for November 14, 17, and 18; Sunnyside Hill for November 19, 20, and 21; and College Hill for November 24, 25, and 26. Residents should rake leaves to the curb no more than two days before pickup and park off-street so sweepers can collect and recycle them into mulch—ensuring proper cleaning.  Pullman Radio
