- ➤ Pullman Good Food Co-op officials announced they signed a letter of intent with Muse on Main to open a 4,000-square-foot community grocery store in downtown Pullman. The store will offer a full range of foods and free parking for members, and a capital campaign will launch at the annual meeting on December 5 to fund renovations — with the official opening date set once funding is complete. - ➤ Volunteers are needed today at the Baptist Church in Colfax to pack dry soup kits for local food banks from 6:00 to 8:30 — Homestead Ministries organizes the event. Pullman Radio
HEALTH NEWS
- ➤ The State of Washington submitted an application for $1 billion in federal funding to upgrade health care in its 29 rural counties. Governor Bob Ferguson said the plan will give $200 million each year from 2026 to 2030 for hospital improvements, technology updates, and maternal care support—helping more than 1 million rural residents, with a decision by Dec. 31.
