Local Pullman businesses and WSU alumni are planning to reinstate Dads’ Weekend on the Palouse for Nov 14-15—timed with a busy sports weekend featuring four Cougar home games.

The event will offer local promotions and a chance for dads and guardians to enjoy fun family activities.

On Track Academy is launching a new outdoor learning space—designed to give students more interactive and hands-on lessons.

Officials say the space will open soon—adding an extra area for outdoor classes.

Pullman's public television station at WSU, KWSU-TV, will go off the air by the end of the year due to a budget crisis that has created a deficit and led to failed revenue growth.

WSU officials said they are working on a sustainable funding plan for public broadcasting to help reduce spending by nearly two million dollars and mitigate the impact on employees.

Starting Sunday, drivers will be able to use the full six-mile, four-lane section of U.S. Highway 95 from Reisenauer Hill to Moscow—this expansion completes work that began in 2022 and was partly funded by Gov. Little’s program to improve road safety.

Construction will continue as crews install final safety features.
