- ➤ On Track Academy is launching a new outdoor learning space—designed to give students more interactive and hands-on lessons. Officials say the space will open soon—adding an extra area for outdoor classes. KXLY
GOVERNMENT NEWS
- ➤ Pullman's public television station at WSU, KWSU-TV, will go off the air by the end of the year due to a budget crisis that has created a deficit and led to failed revenue growth. WSU officials said they are working on a sustainable funding plan for public broadcasting to help reduce spending by nearly two million dollars and mitigate the impact on employees. Pullman Radio
- ➤ Starting Sunday, drivers will be able to use the full six-mile, four-lane section of U.S. Highway 95 from Reisenauer Hill to Moscow—this expansion completes work that began in 2022 and was partly funded by Gov. Little’s program to improve road safety. Construction will continue as crews install final safety features. KLEW
- ➤ Washington State Treasurer Mike Pellicciotti is set to keynote the Hoops Taxation Research and Policy Institute’s fall forum today from 4:30 to 5:30 p.m. in Spark G45 on the Pullman campus—he will discuss bipartisan efforts that support economic opportunity and financial education.
