- ➤ WSU’s Technicolor Heart was voted the 65th ugliest public art piece in America on October 3 by the website Rivers Art. The bronze heart, created by Jim Dine and installed on campus in 2004, was also named the 3rd ugliest art piece in Washington. Pullman Radio
GOVERNMENT NEWS
- ➤ Washington State Parks got a $3.04 million grant to fix the John Wayne Trail trestles hurt by the 2020 Babb Fire—plans are in design, bids will open in January and work will finish by March. Malden Mayor Dan Harwood said the project, with a $1,020,063 FEMA match, will help bring more visitors to town. Whitman County Gazette
