- ➤ A historic building at 1670 Wilson Road, known as the Interstate Telephone Exchange Building, received the Valeri Sivinski Award for Outstanding Rehabilitation from the Washington Department of Archaeology and Historical Preservation after owners David and Jenny Harder restored it this year — repairing its roof, windows and systems after years of neglect. - ➤ Harvest for the 2025-26 hard red spring wheat crop is nearly finished in Colfax—less than 5% of the crop remains, and rain slowed progress on northern durum fields where fewer than 10% is left.
