🚧 Accidents
Deputies responded today when a goat escaped in Pullman (the chase lasted only a few minutes) and recaptured the animal safely.
🎭 Culture
WSU and UI ROTC members will hold a remembrance ceremony tomorrow from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Terrell Library Atrium to mark the 25th anniversary of Sept.
11 with a joint color guard presentation.
🎓 Education
The school district is running a levy to support classroom programs and school improvements.
Voters will decide on the measure in upcoming ballots + further details are expected as the campaign progresses.
The University of Idaho launched the state’s first bachelor’s and master’s degree programs in industrial and systems engineering through its College of Engineering.
The programs train students for careers in manufacturing, robotics, and artificial intelligence — with online master’s options available.
University of Idaho President Scott Green announced his retirement this morning during the state of the university address, and he will retire on June 30 after eight years of leadership — the longest tenure since Richard Gibb led UI from 1977 to 1989.
