- ➤ Pullman’s longtime community center — the Gladish — will close permanently on September 15th as financial troubles forced key tenants to leave, and all occupants must vacate by that date. The Friends of Gladish Board announced the closure after months of rising financial challenges. Pullman Radio
ACCIDENTS NEWS
- ➤ Whitman County Fire District 12 volunteers fought two small wildfires on Sunday. They contained a fire along the Chipman Trail to less than an acre with some trees burned and later put out a grass and brush fire near the North Pullman station — witnesses said fireworks may have started the blaze. ENVIRONMENT NEWS
- ➤ Local officials used drones to scare off wolves near Pullman today. They said the operation kept wild animals away from homes and will be monitored for safety. KXLY
