- ➤ Pullman’s longtime community center — the Gladish — will close permanently on September 15th as financial troubles forced key tenants to leave, and all occupants must vacate by that date. ACCIDENTS NEWS
- ➤ Whitman County Fire District 12 volunteers fought two small wildfires on Sunday. They contained a fire along the Chipman Trail to less than an acre with some trees burned and later put out a grass and brush fire near the North Pullman station — witnesses said fireworks may have started the blaze. - ➤ Local officials used drones to scare off wolves near Pullman today. They said the operation kept wild animals away from homes and will be monitored for safety. KXLY
