  • Gramma’s Blankets is collecting new, gently-used, handmade or store-bought blankets—donations will help Community Action Center and Pullman Child Welfare keep neighbors in Whitman and Latah Counties warm ahead of fall and can be dropped off at Zeppoz in Pullman or Early Bird Supply in Moscow until October 1.  Pullman Radio

BUSINESS NEWS

  • Bledsoe Family Winery launched its Ol’ Crimson Legendary Red Blend on Tuesday—proceeds from each bottle sold will benefit the Cougar Collective that supports WSU athletes. The wine is made from in-house Walla Walla fruit and reflects former WSU quarterback Drew Bledsoe’s connection to his hometown and school.  KXLY

EDUCATION NEWS

  • Today is the first day of school for kids in the Pullman and Moscow School Districts. Drivers are reminded to take extra care near school zones—especially at bus stops.  Pullman Radio

GOVERNMENT NEWS

  • Pullman Sergeant Nathan Padrta was named 2024 Outstanding Law Enforcement Officer of the Year by the Maynard—Price Post 52 American Legion on August 26, and his work taking on extra duties was highlighted for its commitment to serving the community.  Pullman Radio
  • Drivers on Highway 95 between Lewiston and Moscow will face delays starting tomorrow as the Idaho Transportation Department pours concrete for a new four-lane section at Thorn Creek — speed restrictions will remain for the rest of the week, so drivers are advised to leave early.  KLEW

  • The Indians will start their final homestand in the 2025 season as they aim to boost their standings with a series of key games—each matchup may influence their postseason chances.  KXLY
