Good morning, Pullman.

Aly Heinrich, a Pullman woman and manager at Washington State University, will compete in the Mrs. American pageant in Las Vegas next week after winning the title of Mrs. Washington American in Olympia in March—she is also a board member of the League of Women Voters and moved to Pullman in 2020 with her husband.

Today, students at the University of Idaho are moving into on-campus housing—fall semester begins Monday.

Pullman schools are enforcing new cell phone restrictions to cut classroom distractions — the rules limit personal devices during school hours and will start next week.
