  • Moviegoers in Moscow filled the Kenworthy Performing Arts Centre to watch CatVideoFest 2025, a film event showing funny cat videos that raised money for the Humane Society of the Palouse during busy kitten season—helping with food, shelter, and medicine for over 200 cats. The event is part of a nationwide movement with more fun ahead as a dog pool party is scheduled on September 7 at the Hamilton Aquatic Center.  KLEW

  • A former Coug Cam employee was involved in a brief scuffle during a practice session in Pullman—authorities are reviewing the incident for further action.  KXLY
  • At a Cheney practice, EWU head coach Aaron Best said that defenders who do not turn pass break-ups into interceptions earn only 'honorable mention'—safety Drew Carter explained the push for more interceptions aims to strengthen the defense after last season’s six in the Big-Sky conference.  KXLY
  • NBA star Klay Thompson returned to Pullman today and greeted local fans+ organizers said his visit will include additional public events later this week.  KXLY
