ACCIDENTS NEWS
- ➤ A small plane carrying four people from Pullman crashed into parked aircraft at Kalispell City Airport at about 2 p.m.—the accident sparked a large fire that was quickly contained and caused only minor injuries to two passengers. KXLY

GOVERNMENT NEWS
- ➤ The repaving of nine miles of US195 near Pullman has been shut down when union workers from the International Union of Operating Engineers Local 302 went on strike—project work from State Route 27 to Babbitt Road was planned for evenings and was scheduled to finish later in September. REAL ESTATE NEWS
- ➤ In Whitman County, home prices hit their lowest level this year at $375,000, down $12,000 from June but up $25,000 from last year — 52 homes were on the market in July with an average selling time of two months. Pullman Radio
SPORTS NEWS
- ➤ Former WSU quarterback John Mateer said his Venmo texts were inside jokes—not sports bets—and he never wagered on college football while he now plays for Oklahoma. Oklahoma Athletics stated there is no NCAA investigation. KXLY
