- ➤ Local police arrested a woman setting fires in Pullman after witnesses reported her actions. KXLY
EDUCATION NEWS
- ➤ Washington State University in Pullman announced leadership changes amid funding shifts. Jennifer Klein is now Vice President and Chief Human Resources Officer and Matt Skinner is Vice President of Finance and Business Services to help boost fiscal coordination while further changes are expected in the athletic department. GOVERNMENT NEWS
- ➤ City officials said finalists for Pullman's top administrator position will meet with the public tomorrow at city hall from 6:30 to 8:00 p.m. — their names, to be released today, will help Mayor Francis Benjamin nominate a candidate pending Pullman City Council confirmation. Pullman Radio
- ➤ The City of Pullman is gathering public input on its PROS Plan—part of its Five Year Plan—to guide the Parks and Recreation Department. Residents may review the plan and submit comments by August 10 to shape future park projects. KXLY
- ➤ Washington State Department of Transportation said repaving on US195 near Pullman will begin Monday, August 11th and run through late September—overnight work will occur from 6:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m. on weekdays with one lane open causing up to 15-minute delays. They added that guardrail work will cause occasional daytime delays starting today. Pullman Radio
