EDUCATION NEWS
- ➤ WSU Whitman County Master Gardeners will host Ask A Master Gardener plant clinics at the picnic structure at Koppel Farm from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. today and from 8:00 to 10:00 a.m. on July 26. Attendees should bring plant samples or photos of diseased plants or pests for expert inspection. Pullman Radio
SPORTS NEWS
- ➤ Valley All Star Cheer opened registration for fall classes that will start the week of September 1 and run through mid-December — offering programs in tumbling, cheer, jump training, flexibility, a new adult yoga and Pilates class and a parent assisted open gym for littles on Saturday mornings at 10 a.m. Families are encouraged to sign up soon since space is limited and classes cost $45 per month plus a $20 registration fee per class. - ➤ Washington State University announced that home soccer matches will now cost $5 for general admission and $30 for season tickets at the Lower Soccer Field, with nine matches planned for the fall. The season will start on August 14th against Utah State—where the first 200 fans will receive a Cougar fanny pack. Pullman Radio
- ➤ WSU announced enhanced fan experiences for Cougar football this season including a new campus camping option for the Idaho game during Labor Day weekend—campers can stay on Mooberry Track and the turf field on Grimes Way for $250 for a required two-night stay. Additional events include a free moving showing on August 29 and a performance by Wyatt Flores on September 5. Pullman Radio
