- ➤ The University of Idaho Auditorium Chamber Music Series launches its 40th season this fall with four concerts at 7:30 p.m. in the U of I Administration Building Auditorium in Moscow, starting on Sept 25 with Lyyra and featuring internationally renowned musicians including Jeremy Denk and Quartetto Gelato. EDUCATION NEWS
- ➤ Registration is open at Emmanuel Baptist Church in Pullman for vacation bible school for kindergartners through 5th graders—running from July 28th to August 1st from nine to noon—and costs 10 dollars. Pullman Radio

- ➤ Smoke from large wildfires is moving toward local neighborhoods while officials track its path to advise residents on potential air quality issues. KXLY
GOVERNMENT NEWS
- ➤ Pullman City Council will explore banning fireworks at WSU home football and baseball games after councilmember Nathan Weller from Ward 2 said that fireworks on College Hill have posed a recurring problem when used outside of the normal 4th of July and New Year's celebrations — the council will hold a public hearing to gather citizens' input. Pullman Radio
- ➤ Today, the city is rebuilding the Bowdish roundabout to improve traffic flow+ safety, and officials say work will continue over the coming weeks. KXLY
