- ➤ Pullman Police are asking for help finding Sylvia Land, a 66 years old woman last seen in the NW Ann Street area between 10:45 a.m. and 12:45 p.m. on July 6, who is missing due to mental health and medical concerns—if anyone has information, they should call 509 334 0802 and reference case number 25 P05143. EDUCATION NEWS
- ➤ Washington State University promoted infectious disease researcher Viveka Vadyvaloo to director of the Paul G. Allen School for Global Health on July 1. She joined the school in 2009 and replaces Tom Kawula, who remains as senior director+ keeping his role in the leadership team. Pullman Radio

- ➤ Today at the Colfax Library from 5:30—7:00, the Whitman County Commissioner forum will feature newly appointed commissioner Chad Whetzel alongside challengers Cody Finch and Tucker Senter as they prepare for next month's primary run-off; mail in ballots will be sent out on July 18.
