- ➤ A local nonprofit is seeking legal professionals to provide volunteer legal help for immigrants — the organization is accepting applications to meet rising demand. It will review submissions and coordinate support for eligible clients. KXLY
- ➤ Applications for Bloomsday Charity of Choice 2026 are now open and residents may apply to have their chosen charity benefit—further details on deadlines and procedures will follow. KXLY
- ➤ Caritas Food Bank has doubled its capacity+ the expanded facility will improve food distribution to local residents in need. KXLY
- ➤ Dozens of dogs were rescued from a hoarding house in Albion after the owners surrendered them voluntarily and no charges were filed—26 dogs have already moved into foster or adoptive homes. Paw and Claws Pet Rescue is working with city officials and local veterinarians to treat the dogs’ ticks and dental issues. Whitman County Gazette

- ➤ Pullman’s Historic Preservation Commission invites residents to join a historic walking tour on June 21 from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m.—the tour covers downtown sites affected by fires, floods and other disasters, starting at Cougar Plaza, continuing along Main Street's north side and ending at Pine Street. - ➤ The City of Pullman will celebrate Pride month in downtown Pullman on Saturday, June 21 with a 10:00 a.m. rally at Cougar Plaza, an 11:30 a.m. sidewalk parade to Reaney Park, and a festival with fashion, food, and music until 6:00 p.m.—organizers are also collecting donations. Pullman Radio
