- ➤ The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints will donate 35,657 lbs of shelf-stable food to 15 local nonprofits in Pullman on June 4 to meet rising food assistance demand. The drive should supply about 29,700 meals & stabilize community food banks. KXLY

- ➤ Pullman Radio launched a free app on Monday, June 1 that lets users download local news and live streams for Newstalk for the Palouse, New Country, Jack FM and the Morning News (also streaming Washington State University sports and Pullman High football and basketball). Pullman Radio

- ➤ A local food and wine festival featuring headlining chef Shota Nakajima is planned to take place soon in Pullman. Organizers will announce the date and venue in the coming days. KXLY
GOVERNMENT NEWS
- ➤ Crews from the state transportation department began bridge repair work on US195 southbound south of Rosalia yesterday+ the project will delay traffic until Friday as a temporary signal guides vehicles through the work zone. Pullman Radio
HEALTH NEWS
- ➤ Pullman Regional Hospital has named its 2026 Outstanding Employee and Nurse Excellence Award winners. Cara Bruner (35 nominees) was honored after six years at the hospital, and Kelsey Erwin (10 nominees) was recognized for her specialized work in the emergency department. Pullman Radio
SPORTS NEWS
- ➤ The National Football Foundation announced Monday the 2027 College Football Hall of Fame ballot featuring former Cougars coach Mike Leach (who pioneered the air raid offense) and ex-quarterback Ryan Leaf, a first team All-American who led the team to its first Rose Bowl in 67 years. KXLY
