➤ A local food and wine festival featuring headlining chef Shota Nakajima is planned to take place soon in Pullman. Organizers will announce the date and venue in the coming days. KXLY

➤ Crews from the state transportation department began bridge repair work on US195 southbound south of Rosalia yesterday+ the project will delay traffic until Friday as a temporary signal guides vehicles through the work zone. Pullman Radio

➤ Pullman Regional Hospital has named its 2026 Outstanding Employee and Nurse Excellence Award winners. Cara Bruner (35 nominees) was honored after six years at the hospital, and Kelsey Erwin (10 nominees) was recognized for her specialized work in the emergency department. Pullman Radio

➤ The National Football Foundation announced Monday the 2027 College Football Hall of Fame ballot featuring former Cougars coach Mike Leach (who pioneered the air raid offense) and ex-quarterback Ryan Leaf, a first team All-American who led the team to its first Rose Bowl in 67 years. KXLY
