- ➤ Pullman School District received a $10,000 grant from the Washington Turfgrass Seed Association to fund reseeding, repair, and sod installation at Kamiak Elementary. The grant program was made possible by matching contributions from local partners — including Barenbrug, Fusion Seed, and Clearwater Seed. Pullman Radio

- ➤ The Washington Department of Commerce allocated a $150,000 clean energy grant to Partners for Rural Washington for a solar project in Malden — a project that will support renewable energy efforts in North Whitman County. Pullman Radio

- ➤ Neill Public Library is hosting a free Healthy Aging Resource Fair today in Pullman from 1:00 to 2:30 p.m. The fair features brief talks by local partners (Aging and Long Term Care of Eastern Washington, Rural Resources Community Action, Statewide Health Insurance Benefits Advisor, and Washington Cares Fund) and refreshments.
