- ➤ Washington State University raised more than $1 million on Wednesday, Apr. 16 through its 11th annual #CougsGive day, marking the second consecutive year to surpass that goal; 1,451 donations supported 225 campus funding areas (including Cougar Athletics and student organizations). ENVIRONMENT NEWS
- ➤ Volunteers recently planted thousands of trees and shrubs on 2.5 acres of Smoot Hill near Albion, a project led by the National Wild Turkey Federation aimed at improving turkey habitat and expanding local hunting opportunities for WSU students (under the Hunt by Reservation program). - ➤ Washington State University honors track legend Henry Rono with a bronze statue on campus. The dedication takes place at 11:00 a.m. Friday at Mooberry Field before the Cougar Classic track meet. Pullman Radio
