- ➤ The 59th UI Lionel Hampton Jazz Festival kicks off today in Pullman with a free 7:00 p.m. concert at the Administration Building (show for students) and will feature concerts at ICCU Arena through Saturday, including performances by Tito Puente Jr., Jazzmeia Horn and the Lionel Hampton Big Band. EDUCATION NEWS
- ➤ Pullman Public Schools hosts its Spring Family Fair today (4:30 to 6:30 p.m.) at Pullman High School to offer enrollment support, community resources and a chance for families to share their input with school board members. Pullman Radio
ENVIRONMENT NEWS
- ➤ The Palouse Conservation District is hosting an Earth Day stream clean-up today in downtown Pullman; volunteers will walk along Missouri Flat Creek and the South Fork Palouse River to collect litter and recyclables and should dress in rain-or-shine attire with closed-toed shoes and rain gear.
