- ➤ On April 10, the Pullman Police freed a marmot that got stuck under a train rail near a local walking path—Officer Loop and bystanders helped free the animal, which quickly scurried across the tracks. Pullman Radio

- ➤ The Moscow Education Association will host a free screening of 'Covenant of the Salmon People,' a documentary that shows the Nez Perce tribe keeping their ancient promise to protect Chinook salmon+ the film will show at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday, April 15 at Kenworthy Performing Arts Centre in Moscow. - ➤ Former WSU guard Isaiah Watts transferred to the Maryland Terrapins after entering the transfer portal on March 24. He is attending his third school (after arriving at Eastern Washington with coach David Riley) and will join fellow former Coug Myles Rice (from Indiana). KXLY
