- ➤ Palouse Habitat for Humanity launches its 18th Beans ‘n’ Jeans Online Auction today at 12:01 a.m.—the fundraiser will run until Saturday, Apr. 18 at 4 p.m. and aims to raise $210,000 for building three affordable homes in Uniontown and Palouse. KLEW
GOVERNMENT NEWS
- ➤ The GIS department is asking residents to submit photos and videos from March 14 to help map the flood, using images to trace water flow from Koppel Farm to downtown and along stream corridors like Bill Chipman Trail (submit via the city website). Pullman Radio
- ➤ State Route 194 west of Pullman will be closed Monday at 6 a.m. for emergency repairs following a washout on March 14; detours using Hamilton Hill Road & US 195 will be in place until repairs finish on May 15. KXLY
- ➤ The Port of Whitman County and Whitman Hospital and Medical Clinics signed an agreement to clean up the former St. John Inn Café property — a move toward a new medical clinic. Demolition was finished in March and environmental work funded by a $500,000 EPA grant will start soon. Pullman Radio
