  • Spring spill operations began last week at the four Lower Snake River Dams after a federal court order required increased spill to help young salmon and steelhead migrate. The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers advises river users to stay cautious due to faster currents and high water levels.  Pullman Radio
  • The Washington Department of Ecology declared a statewide drought emergency Tuesday after mountain snowpack dropped to half normal, putting summer water supplies at risk + the move will free $3 million in emergency grants to help fish, farmers and communities.  KXLY
