- ➤ Whitman County Superior Court Judge Gary Libey sentenced Jacob Spray to 26 years in prison for strangling his estranged wife, Jaime Wilson, and he will serve an additional three years in community custody— a sentence that is the maximum allowed under state law. KLEW
FINANCE NEWS
- ➤ The University of Idaho will host the free Our Financial Conference on April 4 from 8:00 a.m. — 3:30 p.m. at the Best Western Plus University Inn in Moscow. Financial professionals will share their knowledge in breakout sessions and panels to offer tools for managing digital assets, AI, utilities, and wealth-building with door prizes provided. GOVERNMENT NEWS
- ➤ Downtown Pullman's Main Street rebuild is overbudget and a year behind schedule as Apollo Inc. from the Tri-Cities asks for an extra 134,000 dollars to cover new costs. City council will vote today at 5:30 p.m. to approve the increase — crews will resume work in early April after a winter shutdown. Pullman Radio
HEALTH NEWS
- ➤ Pullman Regional Hospital is welcoming three new residents to its WSY Elson S. Floyd College of Medicine Family Residency Program. The residents—Risper Kirui, Corey Pendergraft and Nathan Swallow—were chosen from 462 applicants after 62 individuals from 33 medical schools were interviewed. Pullman Radio
