- ➤ The Pullman Chamber of Commerce reminds community members that the deadline to purchase tickets for Cabaret 2025 is at 5:00 p.m. on Friday, March 21—this event is the Chamber's only fundraiser. The fundraiser will take place on Saturday, March 29 at the SEL Event Center and include dinner, a signature beverage, silent and live auctions, dancing, and music by DJ Goldfinger. Pullman Radio
- ➤ Pullman Senior Citizens Association is hosting a craft and vendor fair today from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. at the Pullman Senior Center Building B at City Hall—featuring handmade jewelry, crocheted items, dog bandanas, and more with lunch available from 11:00 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Pullman Radio
- ➤ The City of Pullman is inviting residents to a public meeting today at 6:00 p.m. at City Hall to shape its Parks, Recreation & Open Space master plan for the next decade; residents can share input through a survey. Pullman Radio
CRIME NEWS
- ➤ State investigators said that a local farmer struck a pipeline in November while digging a drain line north of Pullman—causing one of the largest natural gas outages in U.S. history that left about 37,000 Avista Utilities customers without service—and prosecutors declined to file charges due to a lack of criminal intent. Pullman Radio
- ➤ The Whitman County Sheriff’s Office is asking for help finding 78-year-old Robert Faultersack from Thornton who left his home Wednesday morning for church in Rosalia, has memory issues and diabetes, and was seen at a bank in Colfax and stores in Moscow before his green 2015 Prius—damaged on the driver’s side and missing one hubcap—was recorded on U.S. Highway 95 heading north. - ➤ A recent RentCafe survey ranked Pullman and Moscow among the top college towns in the nation. Pullman and Washington State University were ranked 2nd while Moscow and the University of Idaho ranked 7th—Bozeman and Montana State University took the top spot. Pullman Radio
