- ➤ A new thrift store—Oscar's Closet—opened in Pullman on March 18 at the Gladish Community and Cultural Center on Sunnyside Hill; it is open Fridays and Saturdays from 10:00 to 3:00, accepts donations, and is run by the nonprofit Gladish. Pullman Radio
CULTURE NEWS
- ➤ The 34th annual DancersDrummersDreamers event will run from Thursday, March 20 through Saturday, March 22 at the University of Idaho’s Hartung Theater in Moscow—showcasing original music and dance created by university students. Concerts will start at 7:30 p.m. with an additional performance on March 22 at 2:00 p.m., and tickets cost between $10 and $16.50. Pullman Radio
GOVERNMENT NEWS
- ➤ Joseph Y. Oatman was named manager of the Nez Perce Tribe’s Fisheries Department on March 18th—he replaces retiring manager Dave Johnson who served for over 20 years—and will lead efforts to protect salmon and fish runs that support the tribe's food and economy. Big Country News
