BUSINESS NEWS

  • Businesses in Pullman are reporting disruptions from flooding that damaged storefronts today + city officials will inspect affected sites to guide repair efforts.  KXLY
  • A GoFundMe page set up by friends of longtime operator Melanie Hodges is raising funds after last weekend’s flood destroyed nearly all inventory, including wedding gowns and prom dresses. The fundraiser will help keep Lily Bee’s consignment shop open downtown.  Pullman Radio

GOVERNMENT NEWS

  • Longtime Latah County Prosecutor Bill Thompson will be honored as Citizen of the Year by the Moscow Elks on March 25 at 6:30 in the lodge (his career began in 1992 and he has served on several statewide boards).  Pullman Radio
  • A temporary stoplight is set up at the washout on SR194 west of Pullman after flooding blew out a culvert near Boyer Park on the Snake River — one lane is directed through the area as WSDOT has yet to announce when repairs will begin.  Pullman Radio
