- ➤ The Boys and Girls Clubs of the Palouse is hosting Keys for Kids Dueling Pianos fundraiser on Friday, April 24 from 6:00 to 10:00 p.m. at SEL Event Center in Pullman+ the interactive event features duo piano performances and a dessert auction to raise funds. Pullman Radio
EDUCATION NEWS
- ➤ WSU Regents voted (8-1) to approve the one-time $20 million fund transfer for Cougar Athletics for fiscal 2027 at the Vancouver campus. WSU President Betsy Cantwell said the move is meant to stabilize athletics operations while leadership works to grow revenue streams. Pullman Radio

- ➤ Sam Martinet, who led the Moscow Chamber since Feb. 2021, will join Pullman-Moscow Regional Airport after her departure was announced on Mar. 5 + the chamber board thanked her as it begins the search for a new executive director. Pullman Radio
SPORTS NEWS
- ➤ Garfield-Palouse beat Lummi Nation 41-33 on March 5 in a quarterfinal game that saw a slow start turn into a strong finish marked by key free throws and defensive plays. The victory helped the team advance toward the state championship game. Whitman County Gazette
