Whitman County commissioners approved a new code on March 2 to restrict future commercial wind energy projects (aimed at protecting residential areas and scenic lands) near Kamiak Butte.
Harvest Hills will seek state review to advance its turbine farm amid ongoing local debate.
🏥 Health
Whitman Public Hospital District No. 3 increased the cash discount for uninsured patients from 20% to 30% on Wednesday, Feb.
