- ➤ A mobile home on West Palouse River Drive in Moscow burned late Thursday, killing several pets and injuring seven dogs while rescuers saved 17 animals and transported injured dogs to local veterinary hospitals with no people hurt. Pullman Radio

EDUCATION NEWS

- ➤ Whitman County Commissioners will vote Monday at 10:15 a.m. in the Colfax courthouse on proposed wind farm regulations that ban turbines within 7 miles of key sites near Kamiak Butte (a move opposed by Save the Palouse).
