ACCIDENTS NEWS

  • A 21-year-old man fell 30 feet from a third story window on WSU’s Greek Row Friday night and suffered non-life-threatening injuries that required hospital treatment, marking the second similar fall since the semester began.  Pullman Radio

EDUCATION NEWS

  • Lemhi—a powerful supercomputer replacing the older Falcon system—is expanding research computing for the University of Idaho, Boise State and Idaho State. Hosted at Idaho Falls, it will speed data analysis and innovation statewide, with Boise State scheduled to assume the lead role later this year.  Big Country News

HEALTH NEWS

  • Pullman Regional Hospital's board named Cheryl Oliver as president at its January 7 meeting. Oliver, who joined in 2023 and serves as Associate Dean for Professional Programs at WSU's Carson College of Business, outlined four priorities while PJ Sanchez stays as vice president and Anna Nofsinger takes over as secretary.  Pullman Radio

SPORTS NEWS

  • Washington State University announced its spring football schedule — listing key game dates and venues for the upcoming season. Local fans will have time to plan visits to the stadium once ticket sales open.  KXLY
  • Pullman High School boys basketball will play a state tournament regional playoff game this Saturday in Spokane at West Valley High School at 4:00 p.m., with the fourth-seeded Hounds facing the fifth-seeded Tumwater team as the winner advances to quarterfinals in Yakima.  Pullman Radio
