EDUCATION NEWS

  • Dr. James Record, Dean of WSU’s Elson S. Floyd College of Medicine in Spokane, announced on Wednesday that he will step down and return to the faculty as a national search for his permanent replacement begins (he will serve as dean until a new leader is appointed).  Pullman Radio

ENVIRONMENT NEWS

  • Palouse Conservation District is hosting a free Zoom talk today at 6:00 p.m. about unique species of the Palouse. Tal Atkins (conservation planner) will explain how endemic plants and animals guide local conservation decisions.  Pullman Radio

HEALTH NEWS

  • Gritman Medical Center completed an 18-month upgrade to its Sterile Processing Department in Moscow on February 9, boosting surgical capacity with advanced equipment and renovated space from a relocated department on its 1960s wing. The upgrade supports a broader plan to improve care for the growing Palouse community.  Pullman Radio
