- ➤ Palouse Habitat for Humanity will host its annual Beans ‘n’ Jeans auction and dinner fundraiser on April 18 at 5:00 pm at SEL Event Center to raise funds for three new homes for a veteran and two local families, with an online auction running from April 11 to 18. Pullman Radio
- ➤ Local organizers have launched a program to help blind residents learn to ski using adaptive techniques at nearby slopes (with expert instruction available) to promote safe, inclusive winter sports participation. KXLY
- ➤ The Palouse Community Center will host Puzzle Palooza on Jan. 25 from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. where teams of up to four race to finish a 500-piece jigsaw puzzle (all proceeds support PEO scholarships) along with door prizes, snacks, and beverages. Pullman Radio

GOVERNMENT NEWS
- ➤ The Washington State Community Economic Revitalization Board awarded a $1 million grant to the Port of Whitman County to restore the historic Oakesdale Mill, funding improvements (roof replacement, stabilization, and utility extensions) with construction set to begin in August and finish by year’s end.
